Will a 37 13.50 r16 fit on a 16x8 rim
I have 35 x 12.50's right now on the 16x8 rims and am wondering if I can safely upgrade with the same rims. Thanks

I have a set of 33 x 13.5/16's and a set of 305/70/16's on 16 x 7 rims for example.
If you read the tire recommendation charts, with the minimum recommended rim widths, no, its impossible, your crowns will wear prematurely, and angels will cry, and a fat girl will die.
In real life, its does depend upon the tire, but, for off roading, I find narrower rims work better, and, I have nice even tire wear, don't blow beads much, and get good mileage out of a set of tires.
I don't have a single set of tires on a "recommended rim size"...and I don't have problems with any of them.
For ON road, they like the sidewall and rim sort of to line up...
OFF road, that's horrible, and a nice sidewall bulge is better.
So, as Eddie said, go for it.
