Will 2011 JK's ever get a tuner?

I may just end up saving for the Sprint Booster for the '11, I've heard from WOL and Northridge that is makes a huge difference in the around town driving, gets rid of the throttle lag. My 'light" 2 door Sport gets decent mileage and cruises all day at 70MPH no problem.

I've heard the same about the Sprint Booster. I already bought the AEV Procal for TPMS, tire size, etc and it worked fine for that on my 2011 JK Unlimited Rubicon. I hate to spend the $ on a Sprint Booster just to have a tuner come out with the same features AND the ability to use my lockers in 4H.
I also had a conversation with a guy with a shop somewhere in the South that claims to be able to sell you a brand new Mopar ECU that has the ability to be programmed with a 2007-2010 tuner. $499, but still no testimonials about it so not sure if it's the real deal or not.

I like my Sprintbooster a lot. The wife picked up on it more than any other performance upgrade I have done. Doesn't boost performance at all, but it certainly feels like it.

Yeah...I get what the Speed Booster does. Seems like that would be something that a tuner could include as well. That's why I'm so hesitant to drop $400 on the Speed Booster. Damn aggravating they can't seem to come up with a tuner for us 2011 folks. I'm beginning to hate that 3.8!

They'll come up with something eventually since the '12's also use the same chipset. Has nothing to do with the change to the 3.6L engine. Just a PITA since every bit of power boost helps especially with auto's. When I regeared and got a Procal it did help a ton though.

From what I understand, it is not just a 2011 JK thing, it is 2011 and up all Dodge/Jeep/Chry/etc thing. No one breaks the new code, no tuner for 2011 JK, 2012 JK, Charger, Challenger, SRT8, SRTthis, SRTthat, etc. These tuners (SC, Diablo, Bulldog, etc) make a whole bunch of programmers besides JK ones. So there seems to be a lot of incentive from a tuners point of view.
One you crack the code, you can lay the existing 2007-2010 JK tunes (i.e. 3.8L) and start creating 3.6L tunes.
So, no 2011 = no 2012 = etc.
