I have a 17x9 rim with 35/12.5. Thinking of going to a 37x13.5. I know most people are going to account for how much off roading will be done. About 2-3 times a year I go to south Texas and do some rock climbing. On a severity scale it's an 8/10 with class 4/5 trails.

as wide as you want im running 37-14.5-16 on a 16-8 wheel poor man beadlocks. i can air down to 7 psi without issue. rides just fine on road and dosnt look to bloated on the sidewals. nine wide yu could run 40s without issue.

You'll be fine. I'm running 355/60-20's (37x14.00) with 9 inch wide wheels on my Ram with no problems.
