It's a 10" wheel with 2" of backspace. There are many claims that it'll wear out the bearings and ball joints but I've got 130k miles on the truck without any real issues. Bj's were done recently but the hubs are still tight.
At the widest point, it was 84" wide so running tight trails was a little sketchy but was awesome at the beach.

Thanks again for the ideas! I will probably be boring and just stick with 35x12.5R17 If I went with a wheel with like 3" backspacing will it still give me a wider stance without causing too much problems? Sadly it doesn't look like MT makes any wide tires anymore in the 35" range. Thanks again though!

I have 35x12.50 General Grabbers and they were phenomenal in real soft sand down in OBX last summer. I aired them down a bit (From 32 to about 25 psi) and only had to put it in 4 wheel a few times going up some steeper dunes. Also are pretty good in the mud as well!
