Default Wide tires on JK unlimited

How wide tire can you have on a 2.5" lift? The picture below is 35 14.5. Do you think this setup will work on a new 2015 jk unlmt with 2.5" teraflex lift?

What jamdt said. Lift height really means nothing. Bump stop height and wheel back space is what matters. I'd say you are probably going to want around the equivalent of 3.5" of back space.

I'm running 20x12's (-44 offset or 4.77 Backspacing) with Nitto Muds 38x15.5 and get zero rub. I am running a 4.5"+ lift though.

Again, lift height means nothing. Share how much bump stop you run. That means something.

I'm curious if there is a marginal difference in strain on the steering components with a 14.5 vs the more common 12.5?

Nice rig. I currently have the same tires but not as big as yours.

That blows me away that vette doesn't have rubbing with that little of back spacing and that wide of a tire. Did you run the steering stops way out?

You gotta be running 5" of bumpstops to keep them tires of your fenders

or not running real hard off road. just looking at it, they look like they would rub off road.
