Default who uses their side steps?

Just curious as to how many people use their side steps to get and/or out of their jeeps?! Stock or aftermarket. Getting in or out of the jeeps? Or do your wife/kids use it but you don't?

For me. ..I have the stock mopar side steps. Before I had a lift, I didn't use it, I would just step right over it. Came on the Jeep from the dealership, and figured the wife and kid would use it.
But now that I have a 2.5" lift I use it to get into the jeep, but I don't use it to get out.
I don't NEED to use it, but it helps to get in more comfortably so my shorts/pants don't get all bunched up and pulled on me.

What do you do?? And what kind of side steps?

I've thought about having a tube welded to my rubi rails so there's at least something for my GF to use to get in. 5'2" and she struggles with stock height. She has no idea what is coming haha

I have the factory ones and use them only to avoid getting my pants dirty, if that makes sense. I look forward to upgrading them to something useful on the trails, I need something for the wife n kid.

Never.

I'm 6'5". I'd smash everything if I used them. I think the wife uses them though. But they "look" good. Ha.

I step on the top of my rails. It's a little hop to get in without them, even with just a small lift and 35's. I'm sure without them I'd get my legs dirty AF hitting the side of the Jeep while getting in and out too.

Big Truck: No Little Truck, we can't go there!
Jeep: Silly truck! I am a Jeep!
*goes there*
