I got my Rockhard bumper from Bustabizz at 4WD, $990 including tax and delivery. Fits and looks good.

This is a great thread!

Are there any advantages to having a full-width vs. a narrower rear bumper?

Full-width protects in an area that's difficult to see. But the shorter bumpers look better with flat fenders.

Has anyone purchased the new PSC Rear Tire Carrier?

shop.poisonspyder.com/JK-RockBrawler-Rear-Bumper-with-Tire-Carrier-p/17-61-020.htm

I noticed Northridge has them in stock.

Not sure about all the pros and cons, but I have noticed that a lot of folks who run rear "shorty" bumpers (AND wheel their Jeeps) eventually seem to add armor corner guards - typically something about covering up body damage is mentioned as a reason.

One can find lots of interesting pictures by performing a search on corner guards.

Thanks for the responses!

I was thinking the full-width would look strange with flat fenders, or fenders that are narrower than stock.

Hadn't thought about potential body damage, but I probably won't be wheeling that hard.

Default old ass thread

This thread was started in 2008. Do you think the originator has a tire carrier?
