Hopefully someone else will clarify but I was under the impression most of the gear sets are manufactured in Korea and sold off as different brands.

I believe Yukon is made right here in the US of A. Also comes with a lifetime guarantee. Saying that I have Chinese G2 gears that work great.

I thought richmond was the only US factory that makes gears.

Yukon isn't lifetime guarantee either but if you purchase them through 4ws they give you an option of lifetime warranty for around $60

I just came across Revolution gears, read up on them and see what you think.

been looking arround it looks like Spicer makes a 4.56 set i think i might go with those since dana makes the axles anyway. New question tho. MY jeep has just over 11k miles on it do i still need a full install kit or will just the ring and pinion with crush sleves be enough?

As long as whatever needs to be reused is not damaged while being caught in the back and forth.

With a good press and the right tools it's always possible. Me personally, some of my projects go terribly, not just the jeep. Having extras can hurt if you don't need em and spend the cash, or don't spend the cash and need em.

Even at 1k miles I would still go with the master kit. It comes with everything needed so it takes any worries away. You'll be able to use your own pinion bearings as setup bearings as well. In my opinion, it just doesn't make much sense not to.

I'm running Alloy USA (made in China, I think). I got the gears and master rebuild kits. Installed last year with about 16K miles on them with no issues.
