I don't know why I did not think of powder coating straight off. Never really thought about that for any color other then black but they do fridges and bathtubs any color so stands to reason wheels would be fair game. Dumb luck. I googled it right after the suggestion and turns out I work within walking distance from a shop that specializes in powdercoating. From the examples they display on their site seems
they can do just about anything and it looks like quality work.

Love the short list CGM 2 and that is exactly what I had in mind jeepnyak. Looks great!

Late 80's I had an 84 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton with wheels like I'm thinking about now. I wanted a Jeep even back then but could never afford or seem to luck out on any deals so I tried real had to turn that trunk into one. It was worth the wait, just wish I had saved those wheels.

I know this is an old thread, but here's my JKU with 15x8 5x5 US wheels. Going with 33 or 35's come spring.

You either love white wheels or hate them...

I'm all for an ugly jeep (I want my jeep to be ugly) but white rims make me want to puke.

Only good thing is that it really makes a jeep stand out.
