Default Where to find Jeep Info With VIN!!

hey i need to know where to find my jeep information with the VIN Number???
i need to be shure that im 3.73 gears instead of 3.21 so i wont have to buy the carrier.....

it says

and ive tried several times there and still says the same.....

Jack one rear wheel off the ground, spin it exactly 1 full revolution, count the drive shaft revolutions. You'll get close enough to know for sure if you have 3.73s or 3.21s.

i just called and they couldent give me a solid info, i will have to do what you say, but do i have to do it with original tires or it dosent matter????

Stock tires or not...One revolution of the tire will spin the drive shaft X times. That is the gear ratio. Solve for X.

I have 3.21 ... with the six speed manual. If you have a manual you should be running a little below 2000 RPM in sixth gear at 60 MPH ... if you are it's a 3.21.

generally 3.73 its for all the automatic (X - sahara) or manual trans with the towing package, 4.10 it's optional (in Canada)

manual without towing package should be 3.21

all rubicons came with 4.10 ratio

Just go to the dealer and give them your vin. They should print you out a vehicle report with more information about your specific jeep than you know what to do with.

They did it for me when I went to get touch up paint.
