I put the 1.5" Spidertrax on my JK a year ago - IMO the stance is better plus I plan on installing 35's on the stock 18" rims (I like the look) so I knew I was going to need them.
I have had no issues since installing them. I would recommend them if your looking to do an inexpensive and easy mod.

Downside - if you've got muddy/salty roads in the winter like we do here, you tend to get quite a lot of crap sprayed onto your doors and rear fenders... spraydown a little more often.
The spacers will bring the tires just outside of the fender coverage.
