Wheel spacers... should I expect vibration?
Bought a set of Toyo Open Country M/T 275/70/18s and installed on my stock Sahara wheels. While moving slowly, when I turn from lock to lock they rub just just a little. Thinking about getting some spacers, but am afraid of vibration at highway speeds. This is my daily driver.
Quadratech has 1" spacers for sale, doubt I need much more than that:
Anyone have any experience with these or something else (beside new wheels) that they would recommend?
If you space the front wheels out.. do you also have to space the rear wheels?

I've had mine on for about 10,000 miles. Tow a trailer etc. No problems at all and I've got 34" tires on factory 18" wheels. always check the torque when you rotate your tires every 3000 miles when you get an oil change.

I've had mine on for 30k. I have had no issues. I put them on with lock tite and torqed them to 100 lbs. I checked them after 500 miles they were still tight. I check them every tire rotation still tight. NO VIBRATIONS. I have 35's on stock sahara wheels

Its more likely the tires are not properly balanced if you are having vibes....have them re-balanced if it occurs...I don't know anyone who had vibes FROM spacers.

Very good, thanks for all the replys.. The reason I asked in the first place is because the guy who put the tires on, and noticed that they were slightly rubbing, recommended against spaces, because of vibration.
The spacers that he had looked more like "shims" the fit over the hub and didn't leave any more room for the wheel on the hub. In other words the wheel might not exactly center on the hub.
When I saw these spacers on Quadratech.. they looked like they should work if they were machined correctly.
Still have 2 questions:

Still have 2 questions:
- Any brand of spacer recommeded over another?
- If I space the front wheels out, should I also space the rears wheels out?

STAY AWAY FROM THE SPACERS THAT JUST GO OVER THE HUB. If you want spacers, go with Spidertrax 1.5" spacers. They are awesome quality and you can get all 4 from Northridge4x4 with free shipping.

I'll check that out, thanks. Not sure I need 1 1/2"... and once again... does anyone know if you must space out all 4 wheels or if just the front will do?
