Default wheel spacer q's

Hey everyone,

lately i have been thinking about getting some spidertrax 1.5 inch wheel spacers. couple questions for ya first tho. i have a super tight turning radius on my 2dr even with 4.6bs wheels and 12.5 wide tires. would this effect my tight turning radius? also...i know it would put alot of stress on my axles to run em one suck an offset wheel already...but is that ok?

thanks!

Sean

Here is the pic I have...

so do you have to swing wider to get into parking spots now?

sweet! thanks! i guess the only reason why a tiny parking spot is harder is because you are 3 inches wider with 1.5 wheel spacers on each side

ya...true that. have you noticed any vibrating or anything from having the wheel spacers on there too?

When I removed my first set of wheels for rotation I re-torque my spider trax bolts..only one bolt was loose, so after 50 miles you may want to re-torque all bolts again. I stopped using them and just got 3.75" backspacing on the new set of wheels
Oh yeah, the off road shop had me sign a waiver...if anything happens it's not their oopsy.

I'm running the trax on mine for about 10k. None of the nuts were loose at any of the checks I did. I used blue instead of red locktite. I've seen people run spacers with lower bs wheels for many thousands of miles with no issues. Just be sure to maintain your stuff for good measure.

How do you like your tires? Mines an unlimited but I want the same size tires with procomp 7069's. I have the same amount of lift as well. Care to throw up a couple pics? I like what I see in the avatar. Need more.

Edit- are you rubbing? Is that why you want spacers?

no rubbing what so ever...honestly, just because i want the look of a wider stance i love my tires they are they best ive ever run out of toyo mt and mtr/k and mud grapplers. the bfg km2 is the best. i have them sipped and they are amazing!!! in the winter, snow and ice surprisingly. the only time i rub is when i am disconected i hit the inside of the front bumper at full stuff...a stubby front bumper would take care of that. thanks for the compliment! here you go...
