I would prefer this stuff to a bunch of poser shots with people saying what they are running. At least some actual information was relayed to the op.

Debate or a good back in forth is always good, there was plenty of info in a common question that everyone usually ignores or bags on the op for asking.

So going with a 16 or 17 inch wheel wont make any difference for light off roading will it? Im finding a good deal on a set of rims/tires that are 16inch Rims but i have always wanted to stay with 17s for some reason. IF there is not a big difference than i guess i can just go with a 16. Will i run into any issues with a 16inch rim and any kind of lifts out there?

The difference of concern is how stiff the tires are, more than the wheel size difference between 16s and 17s. Try to avoid a load range E tire.

I went from an E rated 18" Duratrac to C rated 15" 33x12.5x15 Duratrac so have at least the benefit of running the same tire in two load classes so my comments might be valid.

18" E rated - harsh ride even at 20 psi. I was on stock rims mind you. Punctured tire on sharp rocks.

15" C rated - much better ride quality even at daily driving/ highway 35 psi. Airs down to 12psi offroad on 8" rims. No punctures so far.
