Default Wheel choice help, fuel trophy wheels

Recently purchased a new 14 JKU, that was lifted and had wheels/tires from dealer. It came with 20x10 Fuel Hostage wheels (-24 offset and 4.5 backspacing) with 35x12.50 Nitto Trail grapplers. I quickly grew tired of the look of the 20's. I sold them today and the jeep is sitting on jack stands waiting for me to order new wheels tires tomorrow. I am thinking of going with one of these two setups

18x10 Fuel trophy with that same offset -24 and backspacing as the 20'' I had and 35 trail grapplers in 18.

or the trophy wheels in 17x8.5 with 35's, not sure what backspacing will fit without rubbing?

Are the 10'' wide wheels too wide? I like the look of the 18's better but does the 10 inch wide stretch the tire and make it shorter? The wheels that were one it stuck out quite a bit, but I kinda like that look. Here is pics of mine with the 20's and how they sat. This is a daily driver with light trail use and mud. Any benefits to handling/ride with one or the other? Thanks for any help guys!

My Fuel Trophy D551's 17x8.5 with 4.5" backspacing (and yes, these are 35's) have no rubbing, no issues, love'em! Definitely a fan of the powder coating vs painted wheels.
