Default wheel adapters + loctite.

A quick question for those of you with SpiderTrax wheel adapters. What type of loctite do they recommend? blue, red?

thanks,

Chris.

I used blue just to make it easier when it comes time to change the brakes. maybe I will put on red next time.

I know red loctite is supposed to be a permanent item. blue is service removable. I am not sure if I am wrong or not.

Blue loctite is supposed to be removable and it is with a little effort but red permanent loctite can easily be removed with a little heat. Not too much heat or it could compromise wheel stud strength. Use a little propane torch, heat a little, and the nut should come off without an impact.

Yup, or if no impact available a strong arm.

I only use red and it comes off without much in the way of problem. An 18" breaker bar and a trip to the "GUN SHOW" and stuff comes right off.
