I've had 2 black cars in my life(still have 1). They just always seem to be a giant pain in the ass. Hot in summer, always dirty looking, always shows the swirl marks when clean, rock chips are more noticeable, and people seem to cut you off more(think it's because they just don't seem to see you).
Great for show cars, but just not a color for me.

I've never owned a black colored vehicle before I got my jeep. IMO black on a jeep is an awesome color. People bitch that it shows scratch marks and swirls...meh! It's a jeep, not a show car. Or they say black is hotter in the summer...that's what removable tops are for. Besides, I'm starting to wonder if the whole hotter in summer thing is a myth. Personally, I don't find that the exterior paint color makes any lick of a difference. If it does then it's negligable. The great thing about black is how easy it is to do touch up work. Take a little black spray paint to touch up the rust on your bumpers or armor and you don't even have to mask anything off. If there's any overspray you wouldn't even know it. I also like the fact that mud really shows up nicely over black. My jeep looks great with mud on it. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Ever hear of this thing called AC? It's amazing the gadgets we have nowadays that make things like the color of the vehicle you drive in hot weather conditions irrelevant. BTW, we don't live in igloos up here in Canada. Just want to make that clear.
