Funny you bring that Up I was getting ready to ask about that. I have a disco swaybar too. Someone here in town told me not to disconnect it because my DS would start rubbing.

So really sounds like I need to be building up my front end, and drive system before I do anything else. That kinda bums me out. Id really like to do something that I can see like bumpers or something.

Id rather do it right though. I dont want to have something that is breaking on me all the time.

You don't have to do a ds, it's just something that will pry happen so it's safe to be prepared to get one, I have around 3-3.5" of lift and I've discoed mine (auto) I'm still fine but I'm keeping an eye out, I'll buy one as soon as it goes out

I agree with this. DS are funny. I had a nice ring around mine from rubbing the skid plate. Also I was throwing small amounts of grease. This was without disconnecting and on moderate trails only twice. Everything plays in to this. if I'd updated by control arms I may not have gotten this rubbing. Others have 3"+ of lift with no issues, so who knows. Just keep an eye on it with 3" of lift.

I was going to go with Coast before another forum member sold me his barely used Tom Woods shaft. There is a huge debate on this just do a search. Personally I think you can't go wrong with any. The guy I got the shaft from had his JK rolling on 40's and said he'd buy TW again and again... so take it for what its worth.
