Yeah, I gotta say that their current offer of $300 off is mighty tempting. $1,199 (w/o the lowering arm) is pretty cheap for a rear + tire carrier of that quality. I'm thinking pretty damn hard about jumping on that deal before it's gone.

I'm a fan of the Rugged Ridge stubby... the cost was right, I love the D-hooks, it's one solid hunk of metal. I also like how I could re-use the factory fogs. I'm a fan of Rugged Ridge.

An old thread, but I don't care.... It's an interesting topic.

My personal favorite is the Rugged Ridge XHD, and that's not just because I have one. I just think that the XHD style and concept suits the Jeep better than any other bumper out there. Even the "modular" concept of the bumper suits the Jeep because the Jeep itself is in a way "modular" in that you can take the top off, take the doors off, and fold down the windshield (if you really wanted to...). Same way with the XHD you can go from stubby to full width, grill hoop to stinger, to pre-runner. There's just so many options you can do with it.

Here's mine...

I find that a lot of the other bumpers just have weird styling or dimensions that I don't like. Either they look too small on a big Jeep, or they look too big and bulky, or the grill hoop looks out of place. The XHD has that "just right" look that I was after...and the price was right as well.
