I thought it was Engo that took 2nd as well. Will have to look into that once I'm in the market for the bumper and winch.

The SW Talon is a great winch. I got a 12.5i SR off amazon shipped less than $900. The big benefit to having a higher speed winch is not only less time to heat up but a snatch block cut your speed in half. A slow winch doubled over takes forever. The heat that builds up can destroy a synth rope and shut down a cheap winch in duty cycles. More speed means you get your pull done faster to avoid these problems.

My 10.5k recon has held up for 2 years so far. Not too many pulls, but never failed. The stickers are coming off of it though
. I usually keep it covered too. It is IP67 waterproof, that was very important to me since it sits outside on the front of my Jeep all day. Water can get in to anything and will kill it quick.
