what to use to keep jam nut from coming loose

Like I said, my brother is on a baja race team. They race the 1000 and also in the Best In The Desert series. He swears by the Goop. Said one time they were really late getting the truck ready and they forgot to Goop the truck. They had to stop 3 times during the race and tighten most of the fasteners on the truck.
It cures pretty firm. More firm that a typical silicon that you use to seal something. It doesn't come off real easy, but probably easier than trying to loosten a huge 1-1/2 jam nut with thread locker applied.
