nitto mud grapplers are amazing on the rocks we have out here and i would highly recommend them if you're cool with the loudness of them. if you're looking for something a bit more street friendly, i would recommend their trail grapplers. they still have a MT tread pattern and are just as badass as toyo mt's. i've had a chance to test them out and loved them enough that i'm not getting a set for our new JK.

Like wayoflife said they hum really good on the highway. My roommate had them on his tj (35s). We could here him about 10mins before he parked. The highway runs past the back of the apartment, so you got to get off and drive on a side street

Yeah the mud graps are real loud, but more so than that its a high pitch hum, doesen't bother me personally. They're also heavy and expensive, but a super badass tire. Running KM2's now...they run small, not very loud at all, pretty good on rock and mud, not great, but good. Also excellent road manners and the way its going now they're going to outlast ME.

Another tire I'd look into is the Super Swamper SSR. More or less a refined, siped TSL. Had those on an XJ that I DD 100 miles a day. Wear was good, middle of the road as far as loudness, GREAT on all sorts of terrain.

Plus, theres just nothing like a Super Swamper, and none of the JK guys really run them

Wow, I thought they were heavier than that. My brother's got mud graps on his YJ, they seem to be wearing well but he hasent' had them long enough to tell.

BTW, just did a quick search, Nitto mud grappler in a 37 (rim size unk, assuming 13.5" wide and 17?) comes in at 90.39 LBS.
EDIT: 37/13.5/20 At 98.02 LBS, your source is a little off I'm afraid.

I just put on 35" Yokahama GeoLander M/T. I Love the look and are very quite on the road. I also have driven them in wet conditions and they stick great to th road. I changed from a 33x13.5x18 nitto terragrappler, my new size is 35x12.5x17. I really thought it would be a big difference in pep and gas but it actually feels the same and gas millage went up about 1/2 mpg. I Don't know but maybe the width made the difference. The geolander is a light tire and seems to be a great all condition tire, very happy with choice great price also at discount tire.
