Default what size rims needed for 35" tires

ok i have read everything i can on here or what the search can post up.
but i need to know some things here.
i have a 17"x 8" 5x5 rim for a 35" tire. whats up with this backspacing ?

If I'm looking at it correctly, they are 4.5" of BS. That will work fine with a 35x12.5", anything wider than a 12.5" tire, bets are off.
