Default What size lift for 35" tires

Hey guys, just bought my first jk 2007 2dr, and was wondering if a skyjacker 2.5" suspension lift will fit them.
Thanks,
Boyd

Take my advice. Stay away from skyjacker. Get the terraflex 2.5 coil lift with the unlimited springs. Save your self a headache and do it right the first time.

No lift, chop your flares, slap the 35's on, go drive, and then decide if you actually need the lift.

Third here! Don't even say the word "skyjacker". Do it right and listen to them, teraflex!!

hey dont knock it till you try it bro. CA-JK has a 2 dr with the ROUGH COUNTRY KIT. HE'S LOVING IT. got me definately over the whole teraflex thing. Dont get me wrong, teraflex is a bad ass company. Bad ass parts too. but for the money and all the research ive done, rough country was the way i went

(Now im talking about a 4 in, but it all applies)
the 4 in rough country x flex kit with arms( all 8 of them) cost 1300 tops with shipping.

teraflex 4 in kit with 8 arms, the arms cost $1240 themselves
the whole kit is $2500 Plus another 500 installation and alignment.

the difference: teraflex, same kit but you get bumpstop extensions and a track bar bracket. and your paying roughly $1200 MORE

ive physically opened both rough country and teraflex boxes and touched, felt, looked, examined. every component in the lift.
rough countrys arms are the same, built the same wieghed the same has rebuildable joints and greasable fittings.
I was sold on the kit.. check i out for yourself. i researched alot of lifts for the last 7 months before finally making my decision.

thats just my 2 cents.

same. plus had to do some lower skid plastic piece trimming alot of rubbing on bumps.

I agree. You can also throw on a 1" or 1.25" body lift which will clear even more room for the tires. Going this route removes the possibility of any driveline or suspension geometry issues.

No lift needed. Just wheels with 4.5 backspaceing or less

there is a little more to it than that to run 35s without a lift. U will need flat fenders, extended bump stops and trim ur pinch seam for sure. No reason not to put a small lift on. I would go with OME or teraflex 2.5 or rockkrawler 2.5.

really? I was planning on doing the 2.5" TF Coil Lift with shocks, adj. trackbar, adj. front lca's and 35's and thought I would be in the clear with my 2 door...... I guess not?
