Have you seen the size of the 2 door Wrangler trunk?

Would be handy in the case of an alien abduction though, that was my favorite.

I do not recall having ever seen a switch like that. Appears to be a push button on/off.(obviously). Next thought. Does the light indicator come on? If not. Then it is probably disconnected. A light test may also tell u if it is even powered. U may try and back track the wires to see how it is wired. There may be other hidden parts with a company product name. Its not factory. Not with screws in the dash like that. So an after market product. You said the jeep was purchased from a previous owner. Right? Otherwise. Look up the make and model of the part and its typical intended use. Good luck. Let us know.

ESP kill switch? Some type of throttle gizmo like a Sprint Booster? You'll probably need to pop some panels and trace the wires. Or just ignore it....
