Default What else is needed to complete this lift?

I have a RC lift on my jeep, 35 inch tires and 20 inch wheels. Only thing that I have done is put some control arm brackets on it. What else do you guys see that it needs to be a completed lift? Thanks for the help

Are you planning on just keeping that on the road, doing some light wheelin' like fireroads and such, or getting in to some heavier wheelin' like rock crawling? A lot of what else you may or may not look in to upgrading will depend on how you're going to use it. A "completed lift" is relative to use.

One thing that seems to stand out from the pictures is lack of bumpstops.

It will be staying on the road, maybe some light dirt driving on trails. Thanks for the reply

You've addressed some sort of caster correction which is the big thing. You probably want to address bump stops. If you were going to get more in to offroading you should consider new TB, DL, and TR. Keep in mind at that height, your front DS will fail at some point. The boot protecting the joint at the TC side will rip and spew grease. Just keep an eye on the heat shield above that for the signs. Also, if you have factory ball joints keep in mind those have plastic internals and those will probably need to be upgraded at some point if they haven't already been.

There are several things you can do to improve the ride and performance of that lift kit. What do feel it is lacking? If you feel the ride is fine I would leave it alone. You have cam bolts, why did you add control arm brackets?

The ride is a lot better after the brackets, but it still has a sway feel to it. Almost like being on a boat with a good wind blowing. Will almost make you sick driving if your hungover

Is there a track bar bracket or replacement track bar in the front? Didn't see it in the photos. If there isn't one, I'd address that and recenter the front axle.

As for the ride, honestly your best bet would be to swap out coils and shocks, running a more compliant coil with a firmer gas shock. That'll help with the sway with making your Jeep feel still and stiff and bouncy.

You can raise the front roll center by putting back the factory pitman arm and doing a drag link flip to help with some of the body roll, Or you could drop the lift height down to the 2-2.5" height. Like mentioned those shocks are not great and may be a bit light on the compression side.

I would give a +1 on the changing the shocks. I have Fox shocks tuned by BDS for my MetalCloak springs and they are awesome! whenever I hit a bump there is no bouncy-ness(probably not a word but I'll use it) it drops down, comes up, an that's it.

Thanks for all the input... I am going back and forth about just dropping it down to a 2.5 inch lift... I bought it the way it sits. I really don't need that big of a lift, just want it high enough to fit my 35s. What is thoughts about doing this?
