what do you think is a better swap HEMI vs LS

LS over HEMI by a long shot. LS has better fuel economy, aftermarket support, doesnt take up the entire engine bay..etc.. The HEMI is over rated. Either way, you got far more to worry about afterwards. Axles, drivelines, trans....etc.. I would bet there are far more LS JK's than HEMI powered.

DUDE! The hemi is proven, tried and true! An if you want fuel economy hell stick with the V6 lol!! Anyone who puts a V8 in anything least worry is fuel economy. If something goes crap with this hemi I'll just stick a bigger and better hemi in place of it.

I like this keep it up boys and girls.
ill say my opinion and reason to asking this. I hear a lot of guys dropping in the Hemi. im guessing this is
because Jeep is built by dodge and they are staying true to the maker. I may be wrong.
but from the racing side is where im from. and I have yet to hear that some one put in a HEMI
its always a LS something and its put in to everything, nissans, Toyotas, mazdas, I mean you name it 80% of the swaps are LS. some guys put in the LS1 because its easier to get some LS2. the boys that have money put in LS7 and higher power more pricey LS swaps.
I just don't know much about the Hemi, didn't hear much about it until I got in to jeeps.
so I know LS is a great platform. and is used and trusted by all kinds of other motor sports.
just don't know really why or how the HEMI is better and used so much in jeeps.
maybe its easier to swap, like plug and play vs wiring in the LS.
I know there are lots of variables but im mainly counting Hemi over all vs LS over all
so you make the comparison. say in the same HP ball park.
keep this going I want all of your inputs
please try to post why you think one way or the other.

I will add I understand if its more about staying true to the company that made your jeep. dodge body dodge heart. chevy body GM heart.
"side note"
lets not talk about ford. that's were I draw the line lol sorry ford lovers I don't like that ball game.
if that's the case that is something I understand and is why im 50/50 even though LS seems more of a better platform to me. I believe in stay true to the maker.
