What to do with my 4" lift.

What to do with my 4" lift.
I just bought a '16 Sahara. It has a 4" rough country lift which I would like to get rid of or change up. Do you think I can just get some shorter spring and shocks or should I remove the whole kit and start over. I would like to run my stock wheels and maybe some 33" tires. Rather than buying wheels and tires for the 4" lift.

That is a terrible lift and why it is so cheap. I would put a 2"-2.5" kit on it and be done. This is a great kit for a mainly daily driver that may want to do a little exploring off road. It will allow you to run up 35" tires.

Honestly I don't even care if I have a lift of not... I just want a good quality ride. If things like the drop pitman arm would still work with smaller springs I would just do that.I don't have any of the stock parts. I am also going to remove the steel bumpers and go back to stock.

I also want to identify my bumpers so that I can sell them. I'm going to install the factory ones instead. I like the look of the rear but not so much the front. And I don't like how lousy the paint holds up to rust.

Unfortunately to drop back down in height you'll need a regular pitman arm. The other potential you have is to trade someone your lift components for stock. You might ask for a low price on the trade but then everyone comes out winning.

Yes, if you go back to stock you just need the factory pitman arm. I have full suspensions from a rubicon and sahara and I may have some bumpers. I don't think I have a pitman arm. Are you in Auburn, CA?
