I would totally put some duratracs on my minivan, would be great minivan tires. Of course then I realized I don't have a minivan, but if I ever do...

I've been through a lot of tires in my time with Jeeps, these are my favorite so far. The outer lugs give it that "tough" M/T look and the smaller inner blocks give it a smooth and quiet highway ride. Hope the treadwear is good on them. For the $179 a tire I paid at Discount, they were worth every cent.

What size were you looking for and what is your Zip code. Send it in a PM. I'll call GY tomorrow (er...this afternoon) and locate them. Chances are if its a more popular size you'll have to wait for their production to begin again. If they're currently in production, expect approximately a 4 week wait. If they're out of production, it'll be more like 8 to 12 weeks as a minimum.

Another option to consider is Cooper's new replacement for the ST, called the ST Maxx. Same Commercial Traction category as the Duratrac, similar price.

I have the coopers and love them. They are a great all traction tire.

I've never run Coopers, but the friends that I have who use them, swear by them. You're certainly not going to get a true mud tire if you're going with the ST or the ST Max, but the reports I've heard back is that they behave well on the road, provide great durability on tough conditions, and wear well.

Put it this way. I have been in some tacky slop in my jeep with the coopers and never got stuck yet.
