he's got a 6-speed and so a flashpaq isn't really necessary.
on an auto, you really need to make sure to recalibrate your speedo as it controls your shift points and will make a difference. running a superchips will make things a lot better as canondale said above. i ran this exact setup for about a year and only on 87 and thought it was fine.

question on the flash paq thing, do you have to buy a new one, or ccan you just find someone that already has it or split the cost w/ someone and tune multiple jeeps?

They lock to your Jeep by VIN, so no. Be careful if you want to buy one second hand, as you need to be certain the previous owner unlocks it. SC can do it for you, if you buy a locked one, but you'll be out $100.
