What is the best JK 4" Lift?
#2
I have seen first hand the teraflex on someone else's rig here in Moab and have the skyjacker installed on my JK.
The teraflex is by far the best made, designed and built lift available, but you pay for it. I decided on the skyjacker for both the cost and the availability at the time. Ultimately I'll probably end up with the teraflex on mine ... anyone want a used skyjacker? :<) j/k
The skyjacker is fine, has performed very well, is simple to install, easy to service, etc, etc and has handled all that I have thrown at it. You won't be disappointed in the quality of the lift for the $$.
Good Luck.

My only photos right now can be found here: http://my.project-jk.com/showgallery...=500&ppuser=89
The axles are in line with the stock configuration and great articulation.

4 inch lift kit
i have a 4 inch terra flex and can say that it rides very good. the bad new is with 37 inch tires there is rub on the front bumper and this is on the street.
i am going back to 35 inch tires becouse i do not want a stubby bumper that would solve the bumper rub....i confirmed this with terra flex and desert rat about the bumper....

high country.
i agree with you as i saw all those kewl pics from sema....37 inch tires look great but was told by tera flex (also a month ago) that there would be no rubbing issues....kind of embarising to hear the tires rub on the stock bumper in a parking lot when the wheel is turned 18o degrees....at least desert rat was good enough to switch out with 35inch tires next week.
i would like to know if any one on this board is running into the same problem with 37 inch tires and a 4 inch kit or if it is working properly....i was assured that spacers were in place as well.
it rides very nice and i can only complain that gas consumtion went up and revs were mostly up when i went at it at 60 miles and hour. no starining though but i will say maybe 35 inch tires will be my answer.....
