Default Welding to the frame, anything i need to know

Hey guys and gals I'm doing some custom work to my jk this weekend and need to know if there is anything I need to know when welding to my frame near the front coil buckets. Is it ok to leave my battery connected? It is a royal pain in the ass to disconnect my battery because I have some stuff connected to it that I can not disconect. Anything els I need to know?

Be a good ass welder. And be careful about heating the fame up.
