Default Which way to install new steering stabilizer?

So I have seen Jeeps with the stabilizer installed with the shock body end of the stabilizer on the axle side and others with the shock body mounted to the tie rod. Which is correct?

The '07 service manual shows it with the shock body attached to the axle bracket.

LOL. Was under my Jeep after posting my earlier reply and noticed that the shock body is attached to the tie rod. I have the Woods kit installed, and a TF SS, and with it reversed it does have better clearance from one of the bolts on the axle bracket. With the TF SS, it might even come in contact with that bolt if installed as described in the service manuals. To be honest, I'm no certain how I ended up with mine reversed--perhaps when I installed the Woods kit because I distinctively remember the stock SS being at the same orientation (because I could see it when it was damaged without crawling under the Jeep!).
