Default Warning on Budget Boost and Sway Bar..

Those running a Tera Flex or other Budget Boost please be aware that if you disconnect the Electric sway bar and do any wheeling your sway bar links will fully extend when flexing and then fold back the wrong way towards your tie rods creating damage.. Instead of folding back up towards the frame they will fold down towards the tie rods... Had this happen today... Not fun.. I hope this makes sense to others.. J

This is only if you mod it, right? Stock won'r do anything? I wonder if my lift will hurt anything.

As long as your lift came with extended Sway bar links you'll be fine.. If you running a standard Budget Boost with stock Sway Bar links.. Watch Out...

Am I safe by just moving the rear ones to the front?

This is only a problem with the Rubicon with the electric disco guys. If you have a sahara or an X you won't have this problem.

With the Rubicon, when the electric disco is disconnected there is the potential for it to droop far enough that it could flip backwards when it becomes compressed.

So, I'm a little uncertain. The solution is extending the links, or is there no solution? When I eventually lift her I'm planning on doing one of the premium ($$$) kits.

This is concerning. I am placing an order as we speak with a local shop that includeds the TFBB 2.5" and some 35" tires. I DO have a Rubicon....what should I do? I plan on buying the 3" Ultimate kit later and do some powdercoating on parts but in the mean time, I wanted to use the budget boost. Should I cancel the order or just make sure I get the relocation brackets?

Thanks for posting this!
