I recently installed my Zeon S-10 into an AEV Premium Bumper. I only had to trim the upper flange of the driverside frame support to the bumper. No extra drilling. One huge drawback to the install is having to remove the winch to pull the grill, not to mention that the grill is touching the winch. Also extreme pain to install the fairlead. Took a right angle needle nose pliers to hold the nut on the back of the bumper. Couldn't ask for a cleaner look though.

Well, glad I stumbled across this thread because this is the next phase of my build and the Zeon 10 is what I was wanting to install. Other than trimming the drivers side frame rail, did you run into any other problems? Guess I'm going to have to buy the winch mounting plate from AEV this week. Any other recommendations?

It's a tight fit, ensure you have the grill installed before you put the Winch in. No other mods are required to put the S10000 in place just make sure you trim the bracket on the drivers side that holds the bumper to the frame. I recommend removing the grill when using the cutoff wheel, I have included some pics of the winch installed, I wish would have taken pictures of the trimmed bracket. Enjoy!
In case anyone is on the fence, the AEV bumper is gen 2 (newest one) I elected to use the aev winch bracket holes so my winch is not centered, off to the driver side about a half inch. That is why I only had to trim the bumper frame bracket. If you notice on the guy who started the post has stratches on the driver side of the winch, this is the area I had to trim.
All hardware was included in the warn box, but you need to have the AEV winch plate. Northridge sells the winch plate/bumper combo at a reasonable price.
As far as the electrical portion absolute piece of cake! no issues thus far, still waiting for the factory battery to die before I put a dry cell in.

Well, this definitely threw me a confused curve ball!! Okay, so I already have the front and rear AEV bumpers. Found a guy from TX selling the pair for $1650. Pretty sure it was one hell of a deal, plus I love the way they look! After looking at the different winch plates, I'm confused as to what I need:
AEV JK 2012 Call Of Duty MW3 Winch Mount (10305072AA)
AEV JK Winch Mount (10305060AA)
I was told that the bumpers came off of a 2012 Call of Duty. Soooo...which one do I need? Also, what is the reason for the winch sitting off to the driver side? Is that because they engineered the bumper to work with the Warn 9.5cti? I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I know that the winch sitting off-centered is going to annoy that crap out of me!! Hey OP...what did you use? Yours appears to me centered.
What are the differences in the COD bumper, and the other? "Besides the obvious 1 or two plates" Can't remember if the other plate was included with my bumper. It was all put together whenever we put it on my Jeep. I'll have to take a good peek whenever I get home next week. Here is a pic of the bumper I have, as well as a shot of the rear after I added the optional 5 gallon water tank![Click image for larger version

So I just did this same set up on my rig 2 weeks ago. If you have AEVs lates version of the winch plate it fits with zero trimming. It is tight against the grill but fits no problem.
The shop I go to told me the only real difference between the COD MW3 bumper and the tubeless one from AEV is that the MW3 one has a different/inferior finish on it. He said he has seen some with the finish coming off and rusting

Well, the bumper is off of a '12, but I know that I at least need the winch plate. Just not sure which package I need out of the two links that I listed. Is your winch sitting off-centered with the AEV plate that you used?

Hey evoviii2jk , do you have the part number for the plate you put on? It's really going to irritate me if I order the wrong plate and discover it in the middle of the install! As far as another plate...I honestly can't tell you. The bumper was all put together whenever we installed it, except for the tow hook brackets. I can peek in there whenever I get back and find out though.
