Waren xd9000 on a "factory" Jeep offroad bumper
I have just bought an 09 Rubicon from a dealership that had already installed the Jeep "offroad" bumpers front and back.
The bumper comes in two types. one built for a recessed winch and one that isn't. I, of corse, have the one built without the winch set up.
My question is:
Has anyone installed a winch (xd9000i to be exact) on the jeep bumper not outfitted for the winch. can I use the winch plate that warn makes or have a plat welded on. The bumper has a short hoop on top and I am not sure about clearance or it interfering with the winch.
If not, what can I do to get a winch on it and still be strong enough to not bend or rip the bumper off when I pull.
Please help
