This is a river raider thing - someone will always pop up and tell you they love theirs and say 'don't worry about cracking'.
If you hit a plastic snorkel hard enough to crack it (though iv'e never seen it done) the river raider is going to dent severely, restrict airflow, lose the lovely paint and need to be replaced.

WOW that is ugly, cool pant job though I'd really love to know why they ran it on the hood like that. Soon as I saw that flew part it reminded me of the flexi straws, damnit I need one for my drink now

That is the worst looking snorkel I have seen. I think I will just get the AEV with the prefilter, and later on get the ram air from them. They had pictures posted of their ram air, and it looks about the same as the Safari ram air.

I do like that tent on the FJ Cruiser in the background - looks nice and roomy.
