It looks like it has a bendy-straw portion in the middle right beside the hood hinge.

If you hit a plastic snorkel hard enough to crack it (though iv'e never seen it done) the river raider is going to dent severely, restrict airflow, lose the lovely paint and need to be replaced.

WOW that is ugly, cool pant job though I'd really love to know why they ran it on the hood like that. Soon as I saw that flew part it reminded me of the flexi straws, damnit I need one for my drink now

that comment about the river raiders getting dented..... how many have been dented? anyone yet? Nope I dont think so, but to each their own

That thing looks like a giant killer attack slug. It's awful. Somebody dump some salt on it and kill it quick.

That is the worst looking snorkel I have seen. I think I will just get the AEV with the prefilter, and later on get the ram air from them. They had pictures posted of their ram air, and it looks about the same as the Safari ram air.

You know the RR design team had to all go out and celebrate when they saw Volant's puerile attempt at a snorkel.
I do like that tent on the FJ Cruiser in the background - looks nice and roomy.
