Default Vibration . . . Need your opinion!

I have an 09 Unltd. w/ approx. 10K miles. I installed the OME lift from Northridge, but went with 3" Teraflex springs. Anyway, love the lift and it has performed flawlessly.

Naturally, I tore the boot on the front DS while disconnected.

Within the last several hundred miles I have noticed a moderate - significant vibration above 45-50 mph. Knowing my front DS needed replacing I took it off today, but the vibration continues.

I recently (4 days ago) had my tires rotated/re-balanced.

I am at a loss!
Any suggestions of where to look next would be GREATLY appreciated.

Does it feel like the back end is vibrating? (I know that sounds weird) Seriously, could it be your rear driveshaft?

Yes I was thinking that it may be the rear DS. Unfortunately, I just ordered the Coast 1310 DS from David @ Northridge.

I may take it to the Dealership tomorrow and have them check the rear DS. They will not likely replace it due to the lift however, I was under the opinion the rear DS DID NOT have to be replaced with a 3" lift.

That lift yields higher than 3" doesn't it? Ive heard ballpark numbers around 4" with the 4dr.

Fair statement. However, if the DS is out of balance, you will get a vibration. Your lift effects the DS angle no matter the size lift. The angle can cause stress.

Have you talked to the place that rotated and balanced your tires? They may re-check / re-do their work to see if it helps.

Is the vibration from the undercarriage or do you feel on the steering?

The vibration does appear to be coming from the undercarriage and NOT through the sterring wheel.
I can feel the vibration through the seat.

I had a vibration that showed up after a tire rotation, and no matter how often I took off the wheels I could never find it. Then I removed the retaining clips from the stud and it went away. I know they wernt touching the wheels but maybe they were stoping the wheels from sitting right.
As welll if it showed up aftere the tire rotation make sure that they are installed correctly on the hubs

Fortunately, I am finally back to work (Layed-off since July 09)! Unfortunately, I will not have the time to work on the Jeep until Sat.

My new front Coast DS from David @ Northridge should be in by then!

I will go through and check all my torques. Particularly, the Spidertrax wheel spacers. They told me they checked the torque on the spacers when they balanced/rotated the tires however, they may have said they did w/o having actually done it.
