OK. This might help in finding my vibe problem. Driving home tonight I held the pedal a 45mph where the high pitch vibration is most noticable. Then I turned sharply in the road to the right and the vibe went away. If I turn sharply a 45mph to the left, the vibe is still present. So If I take the load away from the front right tire by turning abruptly right, the vibe disappears. Any ideas?? BTW. Checked motor mounts and they seem fine. Wheel bearing ???

This is EXACTLY what I'm experiencing!!! I have posted here and other forums but have not received a response as to what this could be. I know someone mentioned that it usually indicates a bad drive shaft. My JK is worst at 45-46mph and does it again at about 52mph. It also goes away with a turn to the right.
It's definitely not something just related to a 2 door or a 4 door, but seems to be related to a Rubicon model with 4:10 gears and an automatic transmission.

How many miles do you have on your JK?

Jack up the front end and check the wheel bearings for roughness when you spin the tires, and looseness when you rock the tops of the tires in and out.

While you are at it, check the rotating parts for rubbing on anything.

If you find nothing wrong, do the same thing on the rear axle.

Mine is an 08 and this is a new problem for me. It's not the front DS. It does it w mine out. I've got the lifetime warranty and so far no problems w claims. Already had the balljoints replaced and both rear axle seals. I love my JK and enjoy it. I will admit it has been at the shop more than any other vehicle I have ever owned. I'm going by there today.

I took a look under my Jk again. I did notice some grease coming out of the front u joint on the front drive shaft. The grease was located on all the caps...not sure if that is normal for a brand new u joint...? Wondering if they are bad.

Well decided to take my JK out for a ride today. Vibe is still there and just as loud as it was before. One thing I can say is that it is speed related. Starts at 45 to about 52mph. It doesn't matter what your RPMs are. It does subside going around a corner to the right. Does it cold or warmed up. Still can't figure it out. Just makes me not want to drive it anymore.

Remove the front DS and drive it. Mine was still there. Took it to the dealer today. The tech said it was front right wheel bearing. Getting replaced tommorow. We will see.
