I had to mount it diagonally to mis the exhaust.

River raider makes a skid plate that mounts the tank and evap.

That's a good find as well. IMO the skid plate protects the tank. Although the routing of tubing may pose more of a challenge.

Yeah the difference in that .5 gal makes the 2.5 not fit with the cool Woods brackets only the 2.0 fits...can't remember if you relocated your oem muffler but I've seen them there with a skid intended for the muffler and some people fabbed up their own skid

I put mine behind the back seat, driver side. Then mounted the compressor next to it on the fender well.
