Default Kinda loud - you'll know when it's working

We just relocated our pump to inside the driver's side engine bay off the fender. We used the Metalcloak kit. I guess because it is closer to the passenger compartment it is much easier to hear now. Maybe that's why they installed it way out front in the first place. Kinda loud. It makes a funny buzzing whining sound for maybe 5 seconds. Also, in our installation you don't reuse the smaller plastic tubing. The factory install winds that tube up into the engine bay and it doesn't connect to anything else. At first I thought it was to make sure it didn't pick up any water or moisture when the pump engaged. Now I'm wondering if it also helped keep the vacuum noise down kind of like a muffler. I might try reconnecting it to see. I'll let you know.
