Upper or Lower control arms??
Hiya everyone from sunny Australia!
Sorry for the noob question...i have done a search and can't find a definite answer....but what should i get...Upper or Lower front control arms??
I have the OME 2" lift with 33" tyres, and now find out that my castor is at 0! They told me it should be about +4.5 degrees i think.
I have had 2 wheel alignments done at the dealership, and they have never said anything to me in the past...really annoyed! Anyway the ARB shop i went to had a look and said i need some adjustable control arms, but i can't find any info here to say if i should get upper or lower ones.
I was looking at the JKS ones...has anyone used these?
Thanks
Karl

yeah, go with the lowers. when you change them out they will be much beefier than the stock.that way if you change them out 1 set at a time you start with the one that you need to be stronger first.

for setting up your front end to have more positive caster, uppers will do the job if they can be shortend up enough (a lot cannot). lowers will do the job as well and they will need to be lengthend. for the rear, you really just need uppers and only if you are installing a new u-joint style shaft.
