Default Upgrading Gears to 4.56 and Carrier Help

I have a 2012 JKU Auto, 35s, 3.21 30/44.

I am pricing out an upgrade to 4.56 and am aware that I need to replace carrier to accept 3.73 + gears. So, do I need to purchase 1 or 2 carriers? I have been told I need one Dana 30 Carrier?. What about the 44? Not needed?

Also, when shopping around I have found there are 4.56 Standard and 4.56 Reverse Sets. Whats the difference?

Thanks !!!

Only front carrier needed. 4.56 reverse cut it for the front high pinion (means the pinion located above centerline of ring gear which out front is) standard cut is low pinion which our rear is

If you order a set for any sponsor on the forum you will Get what you need just as long as you get non-rubicon gear set.

If you don't feel confident doing it online just call and tell them what you have and what you need you will be set.

I have no problem ordering online. 4ws.com gave me pricing for Yukon, but I wanted to compare to G2 and Alloy. Thx!

Both. Our front 30 is reverse cut and the rear 44 is standard

You could also consider a full case traction device (truetrac, arb, e-locker, etc.) instead of buying a new 'open' carrier for that front d30.

I just recently regeard my 2013 jku from 3:21s to 4:56s love it. Put a Detroit truetrac in the d30. Well worth the money, put a ARB locker in rear d44. You will really like the 4:56s big difference.

X2 on this. The 4.56 gives it amazing power and control both on and off road,

Like them alot.

Also, Rebar and I are brother Jeeps..... LOL
