Default Upgrading to a bigger lift?

I have the 2.5" TF coil lift with shocks and am wanting to upgrade to the TF 3" coils for a little more height. Will the track bar relocation bracket for the 2.5" lift still be ok? Will I need to upgrade anything else from the 2.5" kit? Thanks in adavance

Thanks, I'd like to have the extra flex the suspsension lift will give me. Anyone swapped the 2.5" coils for the 3" coils? If so how much extra lift did you gain? thanks

With the 3" teraflex coils you get about 4" of lift. Now, ride quality may suffer a bit if you don't get atleast front adj lower control arms so you can increase your caster. That way your JK will handle better than factory.

I don't know if you have a 2dr or 4dr, but if yours is a 2dr you will also need to up grade your drive shafts.

Make sure to post pics after your JK grows again.

Good luck!

I was actually wondering about a body lift. I currently have a 2.5" skyjacker suspension lift with 33s and wanted to run 35s, but am on a tight budget. Will the 1" body lift give me the clearance that I need. I do take it offroad as often as possible.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

I have a 4 door rubicon with an auto trans. Is there anything else I would need to upgrade other than the front lower arms?

Yes, 3.5" would give you plenty of room. Though with bumpstops, (and not disconnected), you could run 35's with your current 2.5" without rubbing. Or browse the fender trimming threads and then you won't need any more lift.

I originally had a 2.5" TF BB/shocks and recently upgraded to the full 3" coils. Run 35's easily. Actual lift was closer to 4". Haven't had to change a thing other than springs. Ride is actually better than stock still but I have also added front and rear adjustable trac bars. This is just what I have done though. It does get wheeled and is my daily driver also. I am keeping an eye on the front driveshaft and so far haven't had any problems. Maybe I have just been lucky!

I have a 2dr, so I'm not entirely sure what else you might need, but you can check this out:

There should be the answer to all your questions.

Good luck!
