Last week I had new stock rubicon wheels and tires installed on my 2012 2 door Sport, Manual.

Since then its been driving extremely different, it shakes uncontrollably at high speeds, 65, on the parkway. It's reving up even higher than normal, and shifting seems to be not helpful at all.

I am new to this and really have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't realize there was such a big difference between stock Sport wheels and tires and stock Rubicon wheels and tires. I love the aggressive look the BFG MT's give my jeep but the performance is lacking. How do I get back to normal?

First check your balance of the tires.Did your JK come with the same size wheels and tires as your new take offs?

Yes they are the same size wheel and tires, 255/75r17 but the new ones are MTs. I will definitely be going back to the shop that installed to see if they are properly balanced.

Let me kno how it works out. I just picked up some rubi wheels today for my jku sport. Except I had stock 16's. good thing is they are 2012 rubi wheels so sensors are the same.

I honestly love the look of my jeep now, definitely more aggressive than the stock SRA's. I just wish I knew what was going on with the performance. Hopefully it is just a balancing issue.

you either are out of balance or perhaps you got a bad tire. neither of these tho should cause your jeep to rev up

I installed mine today. They are super noisy and u can fell the difference breaking. But overall performance is good. Ride fine at 75mph so I say check the balance. I'm definitely gonna procal it soon.

I also have rubi. take offs on my 11 sport 2 door. Not 1 problem with them at all.
