In my opinion 4.88 woud be way too low and 4.10 just about right. I do not; however, think that the cost to regear from 3.21 to 4.10 would be very beneficial. Back in the CJ days you got 2.73 or 3.07 gears with the 6 cyl, and didn't get into 4.10 unless you had the 4 cyl. If you DO decide you want to go to 4.10s, I will have a bargain on a D30 front axle with 4.10 gears in about a week or so. I will try to sell the complete axle first, then part it out if there's no interest in the complete setup. Good luck with your decision.
