Id be more concerned with the pen ink on the camera lens. Clean that thing off!

I can understand that. Having lived in a northern climate and wheeled my daily driver for years. I found that washing it weekly and using a spray on wax helped a lot on the body and rims. Then spraying the metal with a mist of WD40 kept the next weeks road salt and spray from causing more corrosion.

I am in Russia, so to return it back to Quadratec costs more than normal painting... Anyway sounds good that that Quadratec did it

I use WD for closing mechanism and doors always..then it's better

I think most powder coated products tend to start rusting from beneath the coating..not necisarily water seeping in...maybe something to do with manufacturing process or grade of steel used in an overseas production facility

I decided to give 2nd chance for KC lights. It was powder coated. I will inform you about the results after next winter..

Did you return your JK to jeep! I think they sprayed rust from the factory on everything under the tub! I love my JK, but it is a rustomatic
