Unwanted rusty tuning from Smittybilt and KC or just bad quality review
Men!
I installed Smittybilt XRC front and rear w/tire carrier bumpers last summer. After only 1 winter everything is so rusty you cannot tell that car is 12 month year old. So think before buying, especially in cold winter areas where road maintenance services use chemicals agents for snow.

I can understand your frustration. I'm curious how often you washed your vehicle over the winter?
In a coastal winter environment where lots of Road Salts and salt air and rain water then freezes and stays in contact with the metal parts for days if not weeks on end, nothing is safe from corrosion like that.

I wouldn't call that exactly normal. Nothing last forever, but one winter is too soon for rust. My AEV front bumper after two winters is rust free. Cheaper finishes will cause rust to form. Hardware that isn't cad plated or coated will rust quickly.
It is important to wash the Jeep frequently during the winter.
