Default unplugging the side airbag wires

Every thread I read about people pulling out the interior claims that the airbag light won't go back off if you unplug the seats without disconnecting the battery. I unplugged mine and drove 60 miles to the linex place. The light of course was on while they were unplugged. I got it linex'd and drove back still with them unplugged.

When I got to the house, put my interior back together and plugged everything back up the light immediately went back out. I didn't have to worry about reseting anything or disconnecting the battery.

edit: I thought I was in the stock JK section. Mods feel free to move this wherever it needs to go

How much did it cost you to get it done?

$500 to get linex. That was with me taking the interior out.
